My oh my, has it been a hot second or what.

It’s legitimately been so long that an entire season has gone by; the last time you saw me on here the leaves were falling and the aroma of pies were wafting through the air and now— it’s SnOwInG?1!?

So for the sake of my own humor, it only felt right to title this blog post L’Hiver— like a well-planned later half to my last post.. except it really wasn’t.

My snow attire logic:

Honestly, this goes the same for any gray, gloomy, or whenever the weather’s looking pretty darn monochromatic— but I always try to sneak in some bright warm colors. I’ve been really enjoying that nice pop of yellow and orange, and the occasional red,

because god forbid, if the sun isn’t out, I might as well dress like it.

Case in point: these pastel yellow snake-print bell bottoms that I copped at Urban Outfitters during Black Friday last year (to which I accordingly hacked off a good two inches because I’m clearly vertically challenged compared to whoever UO thinks are standard sized).

To make sure that they yellow wasn’t too lonely, I paired it with a mustard miniature chain-belt bag that I got on sale at Zara.

And to top it all off, I tend to gravitate to a myriad of mixed metals for my jewellery, but to stick with the warm tones I went gold-heavy today.
